I was the first UX team member hired by my inspiring boss and mentor, Beril Maples. She brought me in to help build out a full stack User Experience Design function within the Technology organization. It has been an exciting journey as I focused on the Customer Experience and worked our process while educating an organization unfamiliar with our discipline.


As a UX Design Manager, my team is made up of 2 UX Designers, a Visual Designer, a Design Researcher, and a UX Engineer. I recently brought in another UX Engineer and Visual Designer to help with the Virtual Dermatologist project that is still in progress. During the summer months, I manage 2 interns working on both internal and external projects.

My team has been reimagining the digital product experience for skin care consumers. We have been focusing on eCommerce from the perspective of a 2-sided marketplace as well as technologies for skin care assessment and habit-building retention tools. Working closely with the creative team, we initiated a complete overhaul of the visual design language for our digital properties to elevate our customer experience and better reflect the fact that we are a billion dollar premium skincare company.

I continuously contribute to the to the long-term UX vision and strategy to align digital product design with business goals and user needs.
